The complaints its reviews repeat are font detection missing on pages that load faces late, and no way to export a palette as a single document.

For a designer sampling ten sites in an afternoon that difference is the whole experience, and no amount of extra capability makes up for it.
Pick LoupeKit if
If the question is what the site is built with, whether the markup reads as generated, why a layout shifts, what the SEO and accessibility state is, or if you need the answer as a document rather than a screenshot. Also if you are on Firefox, where CSS Peeper does not ship.
Run both
They do not conflict. Neither declares a content script and neither takes over the other’s shortcut. The fast palette and the wide inspector are different moments in the same job, and plenty of people will keep both.
