No, and the tool says so. Both formulas are calibrated on English syllables and sentence length, so a page whose lang says otherwise gets a warning above the numbers. The word and sentence counts are still right.
What counts as the page's prose?
The main landmark if there is one, otherwise the first article, otherwise the body with navigation, headers and footers removed. The panel says which it used.
Is the text sent to the panel or anywhere else?
No. The counting happens on the page, and only the numbers and up to five shortened sentences come back.
